This is such a beautiful, remote, idyllic location - sheep, geese and cows roaming everywhere, lots of birds etc. Loved the Aga and the wood burning stove. The quirky old layout was charming and there was plenty of space. They provided a great library of books, DVDs, puzzles etc there for us to use. Kitchen was well stocked with equipment too. It's also very handy to have a washer dryer there when you're away with kids!
House is a bit on the cold side and there aren't any big windows looking out to enjoy the wonderful view - both to be expected with a 200 year old house to be fair. It was great that plenty of wood was provided for the stove as we did need to use it despite it being summer.
